Top Maps and Navigation Apps on Android in Oman: Q2 2025

In the second quarter of 2025, the top maps and navigation applications on the Android platform in Oman showcased varying trends in downloads and active users, according to data from Sensor Tower.

Yango: taxi, food, delivery experienced fluctuations in its weekly downloads, starting at 2.6K and ending at approximately 2.3K by the end of June. The app maintained a consistent active user base, peaking at about 5.4K users mid-quarter.

Oman Taxi: Otaxi saw a steady pattern in weekly downloads, fluctuating between 1.8K and 2.3K. The active user count started strong at 31.1K, reaching a high of 37.1K in early April, before stabilizing around 30K by the end of June.

Phone Location Tracker via GPS exhibited a downward trend in downloads, beginning at 1.2K and decreasing to around 0.4K. Active users mirrored this decline, starting at 1.1K and ending at 0.8K.

Phone Tracker and GPS Location showed an initial increase in downloads, peaking at 1.4K in late April, before dropping significantly to 35 by early June. Despite this, active users remained relatively stable, fluctuating between 17.3K and 21K.

Radar GO-X: HUD, GPS, Maps maintained a modest revenue stream, with weekly downloads peaking at 1.1K in May. The active user base increased from 470 at the start of the quarter to 887 in May, before settling around 480 by the end of June.
